A beautiful getaway in Southern Vermont
About Us

Howard & Carolyn Bower opened Carol's Hilltop in 2005. This beautiful
house set high on a hill was the perfect location for a bed and breakfast.

Carol's Hilltop is a modern bed & breakfast, conveniently located
in the village of Brownsville, in the Town of Windsor, Vermont, and is
close to the general store, post office, and Ascutney Mountain.

Carol's Hilltop Bed and Breakfast offers spectacular views, warm
hospitality, access to GMHA and Snowmobile Trails. We are located
just 20 Minutes from Woodstock and Quechee Attractions, shopping in
Claremont, and just 30 miles from Dartmouth College.

Carols' Hilltop will close it's doors
on September 30, 2013.

After 8 wonderful years of business, we have decided to
close up shop and move back to Connecticut to be closer
to our family. We will not take any more reservations after
September 30th.

It has been a terrific experience caring for this house and
meeting so many great people. You have all been such
great guests and we enjoyed knowing each of you!!

While it will be sad to leave this house and this quiet town
of Brownsville, we look forward to this next part of our life
and seeing our grandchildren more!!

Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for all the memories
we have shared with you and for coming to stay with us at
Carol's Hilltop Bed and Breakfast!
